I had three main reasons for writing the male ostrich. Firstly I wanted to give innocent young men a "pain free" glimpse at the erratic workings of the female mind. Secondly I wanted to examine the level of selfishness inherent in both sex's to see if male selfishness is any more prevalent than females. Thirdly I wanted to explore various situations that men encounter as they head towards maturity which might help prevent some serious cock-ups. To gather the controversial information which is contained in this book, it was necessary for me to undertake a long arduous journey through some of the remotest night clubs in the land with only my conscience and a small piece of latex for protection. I hope the sacrifice was worth it? |
